This was my most complex project to date, combining intricate electronic design and mechanical integration. The brief was a configurable wall switch which maintained the minimal aesthetic with 2, 4, 6 and 8 button variations. The design developed using two different button sizes to achieve the button combinations, with a unibody main chassis to reduce total tooling costs and value engineering. One key requirement was ensuring the button press was consistent over the whole surface, which was acheived through multiple rounds of prototyping.
