Node is a suite of products designed in partnership with design firm Foster & Partners and Italian lighting manufacturer Artemide. The product combines all the elements within the ceiling under one aesthetic language.

I led the mechanical development of the product, designing the device mounting mechanism and how this coordinates with all the devices in the system, including speakers, security cameras, sprinklers, fire alarms and lighting. Multiple rounds of 3D printing tests to prototype the design led to injection molding designs for which I travelled to the China to monitor the development. The product was released at Light & Build 2018 in front of industry professionals and subsequently featured in Dezeen magazine.
