A 1974 Bang & Olufsen Beogram 1203 Record Player was the catalyst for this project. I considered a number of options for the design but the Beogram 1203 provided the unique combination of modern design features and minimalist aesthetic. The most difficult aspect was retaining the deck features to maintain the minimalist features whilst retrofitting the clock mechanism.
